Our Mission
The Shalom Charleville Parish Retreat Centre exists to provide a place of peace, contemplation, and retreat for all who wish to grow deeper in their faith, particularly through silent adoration.
Our name, "Shalom," embodies the Christian concept of wholeness, peace, and harmony with our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church so that we may be open to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
Our Vision
We envision a community of Catholics coming together for all types of events, whether they be one off retreats like silent retreats, lectio divina, or conferences, or regularly occuring retreats, like young men & women's clubs/prayer meetings, and so on. Through contemplative practices, spiritual direction, and silent adoration, we facilitate experiences that draw people closer to the heart of God.
Whether you come for a silent retreat, a young adult's club, or a day of contemplative prayer, our hope is that you will leave refreshed, restored, and more deeply rooted in God's love.
